A unique in its kind in Gujarat like Giant Fashion Show was organised under the SFURTI motivation. On the 30th September, 2009 in rajkot city a fashion show with the name “Khadi Vastra Paridhan Utsav” a live exhibition of solely khadi wears with modelling and ramp walk by professional team. Around 5000 people enjoyed and viewed this fashion show. Very big series of ladies wear, gents wear, kids wear, party wear, marriage special series, traditional dress and many other item totally made out of cotton khadi were displayed against large audience. This could create tremendous awareness regarding khadi. During this 1000 students enlighten the candles for khadi and they took oath to use khadi in life as good as possible. This was a very nice, success and one of the very rare show for khadi in Gujarat state.
And other Fashion Show was also organised at the same place in the year 2010 with assistance of a local social welfare group to ptomot khadi and its products among open public.
